Transparent Moment

I wrote this 73hrs after our Stephen was killed 7yrs ago. At the time I didn't know the name of the person who killed him so I started with "Dear whoever ended Stephen's earthly life". I am reposting with his name this time.

Dear Christopher----- I forgive you. I'm sure that on Saturday, May 3, 2014 when this happened you felt like a "big man". Like you solved whatever the issue was. Like you won and Stephen lost. What you don't understand is that Stephen has a relationship with God. Yes, I said has. Stephen's relationship with God did not end because you chose to end his earthly life. Stephen is now enjoying his relationship with God in his eternal life. Yes, family and friends are hurt and lost as to why you did this. Just know that we will heal and we will be reunited with Stephen again. So I guess the score now is Stephen 2 and the Streets 0.
